A Malaysian University Professor: New energies will decrease environmental biologic problems.

Head of Fuel Cell Institute of National University of Malaysia declared that energies which we are seeking for in future should produce low amount of Carbon Dioxide. He said energies which increase production of Carbon Dioxide will cause environmental biologic problems in addition to other consequences such as warming up or cooling of the Earth, increasing of sea level and etc.

By hinting that the "Clean Energies for Future" conference has been on new energies, Van Ramli Van Davoud reminded:" Fuel Cell produces clean energy whose only exhaust is water. As a result, it is called clean energy which is important."

As stated by this Malaysian Professor, there have been discussions with various professors and post graduate students through out the conference and considering the present few facilities, good researches have been conducted at university.

"I had some observations in Fuel Cell laboratories in Dr. Shakeri's presence, an outstanding figure in this new field of energy and also Prof. Najafpour who has given a practical aspect to the microbial fuel cell, "He noted.

He assessed welcoming of professors and students for the conference as good and said" I think participants did not feel comfortable enough in asking their questions, and it could be due to their native language as official language at university."

Mentioning that it was his first trip to Iran, He stated:" I'd be grateful if bilateral relations are established so that by student exchange and scientific links we can create common work forces."

"Because we are two Islamic and brothers countries, we can sign bilateral contracts as we have signed similar contracts with some other countries," He further pointed out.

He also noted; "Although Microbial Fuel Cell has less energy in comparison with the common fuel cell, we should expand our research to gain more benefit from microbe".

Van Ramli Van Davoud added:" Actions should be taken to reduce the byproducts of microorganisms in order to increase the efficiency and reach the desired result."

According to Scientific Collaborations & International Affairs of BUT, "Clean Energies for Future" conference was held in BUT last week.
